C&R Beauty Bar is Louisville's Premier Salon for Curly and Natural Hair Services. Offerings include custom cuts and colors, extensions and custom units. C&R also offers loc services, make-up, and bridal services. This Beauty Bar is "fully stocked" and can serve a variety of needs, textures, and style situations. C&R considers itself as a "teaching salon", that also offers various classes and seminars.
Founded in 2015 by Chenica Racine and Ricka O'Bannon,
C&R provides quality service in a comfortable, relaxing, and stress-free environment. Located convienently in the heart of The Highlands, C&R is easy to find and ready to serve. Our owner-stylists have over 20 years of combined experience as licensed professionals, so let us put our experience and attention to detail to work for you.

After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, Ricka took the unconventional route and pursued her passion for a career within the beauty industry. She won the highest honor in the Annual Student Beauty Show sponsored by Fantastic Sam's, while studying at The Hair Design School. Her certifications include the Dermalogica Skin Care System, Keratin Complex and many more.
